Baby Stuff
Hello!
I have a friend named Toni West (she’s amazing) who throughout the years has sent me many prophetic gifts. She has been a safe place for me to share with and she has prayed and encouraged me. I am so thankful for her. She knew that I wanted to be a mom and she reached out to me one day asking if I wanted her baby stuff. At the time I was like, I might as well take it, thinking I would use it for my bio children. I picked up the items and there were tubs and tubs of baby clothes, shoes, a baby swing and a baby bath. I tucked it in to storage not having any idea I would be doing foster care a few years later. That is something that has blown me away is throughout this entire process, I have never asked for one thing. People have just given me things or asked if I wanted/needed different things. My pastor would say that God pays for what he orders. I have seen that first hand in the journey to foster care. These are His kids and He cares about them and He knows what I need more than I do. That is the thing about foster care is you have a ballpark idea of what you will need but you don’t really know. I chose to start out taking in children 2 and under but I don’t know if I will get a boy or a girl or what ages. Also, every kiddo is different. So, it’s been fun to see what the Lord has provided. I want to encourage you that if God has called you to something, he will provide. Even if it’s just enough. Hebrews 11:6 says, it’s impossible to please god without faith. This has been a faith journey but I have just continued to take the steps into what I felt like he was leading me into. You can do the same! I hope you have a great day and I will see you next week and will share about the informational meeting for foster care that I went to. God bless!
